RALLY CENTRAL HOTEL
The Baymont Inn and Suites in Cortez, CO will be Rally Central. Call the hotel directly and mention the Concours Owners Group for the rally room rates. Do not book through websites, as the rate may not be guaranteed. There are currently 130 rooms blocked for the event with overflow arrangements across the street.

Different room styles are available, such as king bed, and double queen bed. Discounted room rates will be available the weekend prior and after the rally week. The rally discount rooms rates are not available from the internet or toll free number. To get discounted rate, room reservations must be made by calling the hotel directly at: 970-565-3400
Rally Central Amenities:
Free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a full business center, on-site gym, heated indoor pool and hot tub, and sunrise/sunset deck.
RALLY OVERFLOW HOTEL
The Day’s Inn in Cortez, CO will be the Rally overflow hotel. We have 40 rooms blocked. 14 Kings and 26 double queens. King rooms are $71.99 a night and 2 queens are $83.99/night. Contact the hotel directly at 1-970-565-8577

There are plans to provide a common fire pit, and fire wood. That’s an absolute must for the camping experience.
Here are some details that will help you determine if camping at the national rally might be for you –
A stones throw won’t get it, but a good sling shot will land one on the roof of the host hotel. I don’t remember having the ability to camp so close to the the main host hotel before. This is a bonus for all of us campers, as it eliminates the need to involve a ride if adult beverages have, or are going to be consumed. We always want you to stay safe at these events. The distance between the host hotel and campground can be measured in yards, and not miles. Yup, it’s that close.
Reservations: The KOA will want a one night deposit for your camping reservation, regardless of the length of your stay. The cancellation fee is $10.00 if you can’t make it at the last minute. A word to the wise… that’s not a lot of money to lose if things don’t work out, so get in there now to get what you want, or risk not being able to have your choice. I see where one of my SE members has dibs on a tee pee, and he will essentially become a landlord as he sells off space in that great option. The tee pee sleeps 6, and has electricity/water/table on the site. The Serengeti lodge tent also sleeps 6, and has microwave, refrigerator, stove, and gas grill. Cook your meals all week to save money, and keep your beverages cold. Both the tee pee and tent lodge are good options for anyone traveling by bike and not wishing to haul all their gear to the rally. There are also cabins to consider, with a great flood plan to offer a lot of accommodation choices regards the number and how to sleep everyone. I’ve often used the cabins on some of my LD rides, and there’s nothing like a roof over your head on occasion. Decide what’s best for you, contact some riding friends to split costs, and don’t let a small budget keep you from attending the rally. We want all of our members to experience Cortez, and all of the great riding. Make your reservations NOW.
For those of you that tent camp and will be bring your gear with you, know that you are near and dear to my heart. Although I’ll be in my truck camper at the rally due to my touring the Colorado area for a couple of months, I spend 70-80 nights a year in my tent while out on my long rides. We’ll do everything we can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The SE is bringing along its two big coffee makers to make sure we get you going in the morning, and I’ll have coolers available for your use to keep stuff cold. I’ve contracted with the campground to supply us with all of the firewood we’ll need, and because we expect to fill the campground up, they were happy to do that free of charge. What’s camping without a big fire? Expect lots of visitors from the rally hotels at night.
