This is an archive of our national rally web pages from 2011 to 2020.
Our annual National Rally, which is planned and organized by COG volunteers, is the flagship event of the Concours Owners Group. Each year members come up with an extra awesome location for an annual National Rally location. This is a not-for-profit club activity held once a year and is geared toward pulling more of us together, to meet others of similar interests, and to explore new parts of the country. If you are new to COG or just checking us out, you may be wondering what all the fuss over a national rally is all about. The COG national rally has been around since 1990 and has always been organized and run by member volunteers. The rally venue changes each year and the chronological history is posted below. COG rallies may not be like others you know about. Our events are about bringing friends together, some you know, and some you have not met before.
Riding is a big part of the event, including traveling to and from the rally location and exploring America along the way. Most riding at the event is self-guided using provided sample ride routes in paper and GPS format, many of which are available for download from the online member library. Maps and other tourist information is usually available on-site to assist planning your own rides too. Head out solo or mingle and meet new people to find someone to ride with.
After the day’s ride, hang around rally central and chat it up with other members from around the country. There will be a few planned activities, some of which have become perennial favorites. The rally events may include a welcome reception, women’s breakfast, and an end of rally group dinner that includes drawings for door prizes. Also planned at some rallies are Experienced Rider Course, Kawasaki dealer open houses, tech seminars and informational workshops. COG is affiliated with Kawasaki / Riders of Kawasaki ROK, and have been a sponsor of our event and even provided demo rides when the Concours 14 was introduced..
